Did Diego Rivera do Frida Khalo? Or did Frida create Diego ?

At the end of the day, both made themselves on the way! What an amazing talent for a couple of crazy unconventional at that time (and still these days)?
This mural is a bit of a criticism of how Frida is on a pedestal and that Diego, a master of composition, has already been relegated… That’s why I painted them both like this: a Diego in gray but monumental and a Frida who is recognizable without having to paint her face completely!
